Gender is one aspect of equality within a human rights framework.Our focus in gender equality is to ensure, gendered impacts in all actions from the prospective of the framework of human rights. The aim of gender equality as a cross-cutting objective is to ensure that all people, regardless of their gender, can equally contribute to and benefit from development. It does so by systematically assessing and addressing gender-based discrimination.
